The Society: On NOVUS, emotions are completely outlawed, and society is strictly run on absolute efficiency.
The Inciting Incident: One day, Jace accidentally intercepted the famous Golden Record signal-the real-life audio message sent into deep space by Earth’s Voyager spacecraft in 1973. Overwhelmed by the “inefficient” but beautiful concepts of human emotion and music, they escaped the planet and fled to Earth.
The Stakes: They are actively being hunted. The ruthless ruler of NOVUS, known as K, has deployed a chilling planetary surveillance system called “Stray Cat” to track down and capture the runaway.

The “Low-Power Mode” Twist:
1. SD Form (Chibi): This cute, short, cartoonish form is actually their “Low-Power Mode”. They have to adopt this compressed form to survive and adapt to Earth’s heavy emotional atmosphere. Their lore episodes feature funny scenarios where they get paralyzed by confusion over simple things, like waiting for a flickering green pedestrian light.
