NEW GIRL Profile and Facts

NEW GIRL Profile and Facts

NEW GIRL (뉴걸; formerly known as Jiiyeon) is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She officially debuted with the single “New Girl” on October 28, 2024.

Stage Name Meaning: “Actually, for my first release, I promoted under my real name, Jiiyeon. After releasing music under that name, I felt like I wanted to separate myself as a human being from myself as an artist, so I decided to create a stage name. I really liked a girly vibe and aesthetic, so I definitely wanted to include the word ‘GIRL,’ and I combined it with the word ‘NEW’ out of the thought that I wanted to ‘show something entirely my own’” (xyz.tracker Interview).
