Group Name Meaning: Their name combines the “E” from “Extra”, which means “beyond the ordinary”, and the initials from the members’ names. It also was inspired by the concept of an electromagnetic pulse, which embodies the ambition to create a space where only the duo’s music exists, much like how an EMP cuts off all surrounding sounds the moment it detonates.
